Birbirini sevmeye devam eden, arkadaşca yollarını ayırmak isteyen iki insanın hayatın içinden, herkesin izlerken kendinden bir parça bulabileceği türden, uzun ama hiç sıkmadan kendini izleten türden bir drama. Beğeni ile ve biraz sikilarak izledim.

Dünya Savaşı’nda saklanan Yahudileri tehdit eden ve yüzlercesinin ölümünden sorumlu olan Hollandalı suçlu Andries Riphagen’in yaşamı anlatılıyor. Nefis bir filmdi diyebilirim rahatlikla, yaptiklarinin ne kadar etik olduğunu tartışmaya girmeden önce, savaşta yaşanan neyin temiz olduğunu dusunmemiz gerekir. Nazi kamplarıyla ilgili yapılmış sayısız filmden birisidir. fakat benim için ilk 5'e girmeyi başardı. Film sinematografi açısından çok başarılıydı. Farklı görsel tekniklerin kullanıldığı sahnelerle farklı duygular izleyiciye çok iyi aktarılmış. Oyuncuların performansı da gayet yerindeydi diyebilirim. 10 üzerinden 8 puanlık bir film diyebilirim. The Current War filmi, elektrik alanındaki teknolojilerin gelişimine büyük katkı sağlamış ve birçok icat ortaya çıkarmış Thomas Edison (Benedict Cumberbatch) ve George Westinghouse (Michael Shannon) arasındaki rekabete odaklanıyor. Konuya hakim olmayan sinema seyircisi için, mesela benim gibi; biraz izlemesi zor gibi, konuyu yakalayıp aynı anda filme hakim olmak, uzun bir zaman dilimini bu kadar hızlı anlatan bir film için azcık zor oluyor fakat yapımın kaliteli olduğu gerçeğini değiştirmiyor. Göz atılması tavsiye edilir.
